Clyde View Park sculptures
Contents
Introduction
The park opened in 2005 and was named Clyde View Park as the result of a competition amongst local residents. It is worth the short walk or drive if you happen to be visiting the many attractions at Braehead. It extends to 7 acres and will eventually link the Braehead retail and leisure park to the east with the new Renfrew Riverside housing developments to the west. The area was previously industrialised, occupied mainly by the coal fired Braehead power station which was
demolished in the early 1990s.

The park was jointly funded by various partners. The sculptures were commissioned by Capital Shopping plc.

the sky balanced on our shoulders like the past
