This path has the distinction of being Bournemouth's shortest public footpath, at a length of 8m. It is concealed by the black car in this picture.

The main path alongside Mallard Road, at our feet, reaches the junction and crosses the side-road diagonally to head in front of the distant houses (K09). The path to the left is just the pavement of Mallard Road as it continues around the bend. The public footpath is the pavement on which the car is parked, linking the latter two.
