Banchory to Aboyne - opened 1859

"The first turf of the extension from Banchory to Aboyne was cut by the Marchioness of Huntly at Rosehill (Aboyne) on 2nd October 1857, and this portion of the line was opened on 2nd December 1859." A.I.McConnochie - Deeside(1895)
