To the halfway point of 2012 that is

My last blog finished at the end of April and the last two months have been as interesting as ever, although I failed to have the anticipated day out with Ashley Dace.

The weekend of May 12 and 13 was National Mills weekend and I went wild in Shropshire managing 10 of the sites listed on the website as participating.

On Sunday June 24 I spent a day in Cheshire with a colleague. July has got off to an excellent start with much of industrial interest and an event to celebrate the tercentenary of Newcomen's engine.
