Researched and Documented War Memorials

Each City, Town and Village has them; Memorials to the Fallen of the First and Second World Wars. Lists of names, often hard to read to the casual observer, that record the sacrifice of those who we can so easily forget. With the online facilities now available via the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, The War Graves Photographic Project, FindAGrave, The International War Graves Photography Project USA and others, and the assistance of local Historians and Archivists, their names can live on. This Gallery is dedicated to those researched and documented Memorials, and here are two of my local examples.
