Geo-Trips :: Crossing the Lea
Stanstead Abbotts
A drive from Barnet, Thu, 15 Oct 2015 by David Howard
My final planned 2015 trip north before the clocks went back has been completed, going to Rye House for a few identical pre-Worboys signs. After some attempts I have worked out the best route to the A10 without getting held up, it looks complicated but you keep moving. The toll was 50p to cross the Lea, but meant I could get two (three had I seen it) more signs and keep going to get more squares before reaching where I'd been before. I could have gone for some more in Harlow but it's a real maze and was easier to get some squares and do that on another day.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
