Geo-Trips :: The valley of the River Creedy

Upton Hellions, mid-Devon

A walk from Sandford, Fri, 8 Apr 2016 by David Smith

A short circular walk from Sandford, across the Creedy to Upton Hellions, north to the Holly Water and returning south on the east side of the Creedy valley. Parts were muddy, parts were amusing (see the sign by the river in the seventh photo) - but the views were very good. I only gained one new personal point, but increased the Geograph coverage of some seldom visited squares.

Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
