Geo-Trips :: A walk up Meall Dubh

Meall Dubh, Loch Fyne

A walk from A83 at Meall Dubh, Sat, 4 Sep 2010 by Patrick Mackie

A walk to fill in some green squares. Bagged a trig point as well. Horrid ground - tussocky and boggy - but actually managed to sprain my ankle on a dodgy stile over a deer fence; I'll stick to climbing them in the future.

On the map below, the grey line is the GPS track from this trip. Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
