Geo-Trips :: A short walk on Glyndwr's Way

Glyndwr's Way

A walk from Nantyfyda (near Aberhosan), Sun, 1 May 2011 by David Purchase

A small group walked from Nantyfyda (SN8196) to the Star Inn at Dylife (SN8694), along a short part of Glyndwr's Way.

I have walked the whole of Glyndwr's Way, but in the opposite direction. It is, in places, quite challenging, and one leg is quite long unless you are into wild camping (which I am not). But I thoroughly recommend it. It is not a National Trail, but is certainly one of the best Long Distance Paths in hill country.

Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
