Geo-Trips :: An architectural walk around Leeds city centre

Leeds city centre

A walk from Leeds City Square, Sun, 24 Mar 2019 by Stephen Craven

41 photos from an organised Sunday afternoon walk around the west end of Leeds city centre, venturing across the river and into the edge of Holbeck. It was led by Rachael Unsworth of Leeds City Walking Tours, who describes herself as an urban geographer. I hereby credit Rachael with many of the historical facts and architectural details mentioned in my photo descriptions.

Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
