Geo-Trips :: A walk around Croome Park

Croome Park, Worcester

A walk from Croome Court, Thu, 9 Sep 2010 by Trevor Rickard

Croome Landscape Park has been restored by the National Trust since being acquired in 1996. I've been visiting on and off during that period and now that the park is in good shape I thought it would be good to have a complete look at it and marvel at Capability Brown's skill. The house itself has only just been acquired by the NT, but parts of it are now open. Capability Brown also designed the house, making it a rarity.

Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
