Geo-Trips :: A walk up Coire Mhic Nobuil, behind Liathach
Torridon
A walk from the Diabaig road, Mon, 7 May 2001 by Nigel Brown
This takes you into the heart of the Torridon mountains, a valley surrounded by Beinn Alligin, Beinn Dearg, Beinn Eighe and Liathach. Many years before I'd used it as part of a circumnavigation of Liathach, in wet conditions wearing totally unbreathable waterproofs. On this occasion, it was a leisurely stroll in fine conditions, enjoying the magnificent scenery.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
