Geo-Trips :: Boating down the Thames and up the Wey

River Thames and River Wey

A boat trip from Maidenhead Bridge, Sun, 24 Aug 2008 by Graham Horn

preceding legThis trip is part of a series.next leg

The second day of a three day trip from Reading to Godalming, using a bit of the River Kennet, the River Thames and the River Wey.

From Maidenhead, it started cloudy but brightened up as we had a leisurely trip down the Thames past Windsor and onto the River Wey, mooring for the night at the Anchor at Pyrford.

Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
