Torquay

A walk from Torquay harbour, Fri, 5 Dec 2014 by David Smith

This is a short walk (about 7km) around Lincombe, Ilsham and Meadfoot, just east of the harbour in Torquay. It is one of several online at the Devon County Council website (LinkExternal link. Lincombe is very close to the centre of the town, but it feels like the country. For me, there were no new squares to bag, but it was a very nice walk in December. I extended the published walk by visiting the pier and marina.

Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
