A drive from Waunfawr, Sun, 11 Apr 2010 by Raymond Knapman
Setting out in sunny spring weather to follow the Welsh Highland Railway through Beddgelert,where we boarded the train for the final leg through Aberglaslyn,to the temporary terminus ot Pont Croesor. Then onto the RSPB Osprey hide, then over to Tan Y Bwlch where the Ffestiniog railway was visited.
After lunch went up to Trawsfynnyd and photos taken of remains of the Bala ..Ffestiniog ex Great Western Railway. Finally ending the railway theme of the day at Carrog on the Llangollen Railway
