SK5052 :
Notts - NG15 (Annesley Hall Area)
The tombstone in the centre marks the burial plot of some of the Chaworth-Musters family of Annesley Hall, visible ahead. This is the graveyard of the Grade I-listed former Annesley Church. The trees behind the Hall are part of Dairy Wood and the trees that can be seen disappearing in the distance are hugging the side of the A611. As a result when the traffic is heavy this graveyard is not a peaceful as presumably it once was?
