SJ3490 : Royal Court Theatre
3 km from Liverpool, Great Britain

Royal Court Theatre
For many years the main Liverpool theatre for touring drama and musicals, as part of the Howard and Wyndham empire. After some time doing rock and pop shows, it has recently been staging drama again.
The building was opened in 1938 as a replacement for the old Royal Court which was destroyed by fire in 1933. Fortunately it survived the bombing of WW2 unharmed. Now listed Grade II.
