SJ3326 : Aston Middle Lock

taken 16 years ago, near to Queen's Head, Shropshire, England

Aston Middle Lock
Aston Middle Lock
The lock is being filled ready for a boat to descend. The warning triangle on the gate is to remind boaters to ensure that their boat is forward of the white cill markers, painted to the side of the lock, when descending; failure to do this can result in a sunken boat.
