SK5752 : Underground Reservoir

3 km from Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Underground Reservoir
Underground Reservoir
Underground Victorian reservoir which is being restored by volunteers from the Papplewick Pumping Station group:-[[LinkExternal link]].
It was used to store water to feed Nottingham, but after springing a leak, it has been replaced by a modern structure built at the side of it. It is a "Must See" experience when visiting the site, and can only be accessed by guided tours.
