Hub of Turbine No 1 at Scout Moor

Over the period of 10 months while documenting the construction of the
Scout Moor Wind Farm I met many interesting people who were out and about on the moors.
On this particular day in April 2008 I met a retired gentleman carrying a huge amount of equipment including a very large telescope who was kind enough to let me take some shots through it.
The result, pictured above, is a picture of the hub of Turbine No 1 taken from Rochdale Road near to SD8315 : Ashworth Moor Reservoir

The blades were attached to the hub of turbine No 1 on the 9th of April 2008.
