Ammon Wrigley statue
This statue commemorates Ammon Wrigley (1861-1946) who was a famous Saddleworth dialect poet. He lived and died "on the cold grey hills of Saddleworth". The statue was unveiled in 1991 at the time of the Saddleworth Festival of Arts.
