Lightning, Samlesbury Airport
Lightning, Samlesbury Airport
At the gates of BAE, Samlesbury Airport. Components of this plane were manufactured here. I thought it was a Tornado but now it s definitely identified as a Lightning. See LinkExternal link. Recently damaged by nesting starlings and may be removed for restoration like the Canberra which used to stand on the other side of the gate.
