Church Farm, More
Church Farm, More
This house has apparently been rebuilt, probably in the 19C, but has retained two old timber-framed gable ends. Viewed from the churchyard. 'Images of England' states that it was built in the early to mid 16C, remodelled in the mid 17C and mid 18C and extended in the 19C. It was of the hall and cross-wing type. The photo is of the rear twin-gabled elevation. For another, closer, photo see LinkExternal link
