near to North Stoke, West Sussex, Great Britain

Canada on the South Downs
Not much remains of a farmyard surrounded by buildings on four sides. It was shown on the 1879 Ordnance Survey map and I'd guess that the farm was built at the time of the enclosures when wool became the harvest of choice for landowners.
