Track on the eastern edge of Eaves Hill wood, New Forest
Track on the eastern edge of Eaves Hill wood, New Forest
This track leads from Bartley cricket ground (where there is a locked gate to prevent access by unauthorised vehicles) to a private dwelling on the edge of the New Forest lands. The open woodland to the left is on Eaves Hill and is mainly populated by oak and holly, and grazed by the wandering ponies. It is easy to walk through this woodland, although it can be very wet underfoot in the winter.
