This wicket gate provides access to the eastern side of the Brockishill Inclosure from the area of open woodland known as Great Stubby Hat. The inclosure looks like a Victorian-age one, planted with Scots pine. The Scots pine is invasive, and there are many self-seeded younger specimens growing in the nearby oak and holly woodland.
