The Beech Woods

The day was heavily overcast with snow laden clouds but with a fringe of bright light between the clouds and the horizon and snow atop the hills. The resultant light gave a very even distribution though the woods and the normal harsh sunlight through trees, gave way to a deep penetrating illumination.
