NS1385 : Picea sitchensis
near to Benmore, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Picea sitchensis
An old friend in an unusual guise. Mature Sitka spruce are an unusual sight, most are cooped up in commercial forests and felled at about 30 years. I have only seen trees this big in the Pacific Northwest (again fjord country with a similar climate to Benmore) and Exmoor.
