Byrlymau Elan
Byrlymau Elan
The upper Afon Elan is little more than a stream emerging from the source bogs of Grafea Elan LinkExternal link and Rhas (Rhos?) ElanLinkExternal link . The name of this section of the river refers to the gargling sound it makes. The remnants of this winter's first snowfall on 28 Oct are still around.
