The Lotus Cantonese Restaurant and Takeaway stands on the very edge of the Triangle which is the centre of Cinderford. The footpath is very steep and sharply curved, hence the railings. There is what appears to be an ornamental cross at the end of the railings but this, I suspect, is intended for hanging baskets rather than fulfilling any religious purpose.
