near to Tollesbury, Essex, Great Britain

'Trinity' lightship
'Trinity', the former lightship which is now the hub of activity for the Fellowship Afloat Charitable Trust (FACT) Link
was built in 1954 for Trinity House, the organisation which looks after shipping navigation marks around the UK. The vessel is permanently moored at the edge of Tollesbury Saltings and is linked to the boatyard by a footpath.
FACT converted her to a residential centre in 1990. It was carried out ensuring that its exterior appearance was little changed. Inside, all work has been done in keeping with its original character.
