TF4299 : Seals at Donna Nook

3 km from North Somercotes, Lincolnshire, Great Britain

Seals at Donna Nook
Seals at Donna Nook
The grey seal breeding season has already started, and there are plenty of seals with pups to be seen close to the footpath by the dunes. Just to the left of the picture the Spurn Head Lighthouse can be seen, and, faintly, the wind turbines at Easington on the North side of the Humber estuary. The sign on the right warns the public that Donna Nook - although a nature reserve of the Lincolnshire Trust - is a RAF firing range.
