Former Grammar School, Drogheda
The two redbrick buildings of the former Drogheda Grammar School are, nearest camera, Lord Chief Justice Singleton's House built in the 1730s and, beyond that, Mr. Clarke's Free School, built as a school in c.1740 but designed to look like a private residence. Both houses demolished on the morning of Sunday 23rd July 1989 despite being subject to a preservation order.
