Overgate Hospice
Overgate Hospice is the only hospice in the Calderdale area. The building, called Overgate, became Overgate Hospice in 1981 after being left to the Calderdale Society for Continuing Care by Mr & Mrs Graucob of Nu-Swift Fire Extinguishers. It is a popular charity and regarded with affection by the inhabitants of the Calderdale.
