The Shooting Tower, Lee Woods
The Shooting Tower, Lee Woods
This tower is believed to have been built as a firing platform for shooting parties in the 19th Century. During WWII it was used to spot incoming air raids over Plymouth. The tower is a rather dramatic Gothic feature standing all alone in the dark woods.
