Locomotive Instruction Stone
This stone bears the inscription 'N 13 10 1/2 MILL' It is close to the old narrow gauge tramway system which was used to bring stone down from Ding, Gragg, Brow Edge and other quarries, to the main line railway at Cloughfold, and is thought to be an instruction stone for the staff using the locomotives.
