NY3859 : The Waverley Line replaced by a footpath
near to Kingstown, Cumbria, Great Britain

The Waverley Line replaced by a footpath
The scenic railway line from Edinburgh and the Borders once ran directly north to south through this square. The line was closed to passenger trains in 1969. Not much scenery around the path here, sandwiched between two industrial estates. The path links the nature reserves of Kingmoor North and Kingmoor South.
