SU5179 : The Graham Taylor building at the Downs School Compton

near to Compton, West Berkshire, Great Britain

The Graham Taylor building at the Downs School Compton
The Graham Taylor building at the Downs School Compton
This building was named after the previous headmaster of the Downs School.
However is doubtful that anyone would now want to have this building named after them.
The building was built over a local cross-village footpath against the wishes of local people.
The dubious processes that West Berkshire Council and the Downs school have gone about to build this building over the footpath have brought them into disrepute.
The Graham Taylor building represents all the underhand methods that they have used with this building and other planning applications.
It seems the footpath will now be diverted around the school although information about this is currently hidden on the WBC website.
