Kinpurney Hill
Kinpurney Hill
A summit on the north side of the Sidlaw Hills, Angus, Kinpurney Hill (345m) looks down onto the valley of Strathmore at Newtyle. It is topped by an 18th-century observation tower, restored in the early 20th century, and the ramparts of an ancient hill-fort. From the summit, 13 Munros can be seen. It is viewed here from the B954 just south of Meigle.
