Black Bulgar (fungi) at Stover Park
Black Bulgar (fungi) at Stover Park
The biggest tree in the Country Park fell down this year during the gales. It was a turkey oak and one of the few still remaining that were planted along the carriage drive in the early 1800’s. Black Bulgar grows on newly cut or damaged trees especially oak.
