Redruth: Town Mills Foundry
Redruth: Town Mills Foundry
An 11 breastshot waterwheel on a private site. Also known as Town Mill Foundry; a decayed and ancient corn mill also survives here. The foundry was established by William M Sara in 1860 and in 1997 a 24 waterwheel was also on site, although some of its shrouds were missing.
