Still in existence but looking rather tired!
Battle of Britain Class Locomotive No.34073 249 Squadron built in 1948 & withdrawn in 1964, has seen hardly any restoration since then but many components have been used to get other similar locomotives into working order.
My photo on ST1067 shows the loco in Barry Scrap Yard in 1984 when it looked more like a steam engine than now. The loco chassis waits movement by road to Lancashire.
