Dun Cnoc a'Sga
Dun Cnoc a'Sga
Cnoc a'Sga is a flat topped hill rising to a height of 80m. At the south western end of the summit plateau are the scanty remains of a dun, largely grassed over. A few of the outer foundation stones remain in position and the outline of the fort is marked only by an irregular ring of dislodged blocks. At the left end in this picture can be seen a circular cairn about 7m in diameter and 1m high surmounted by a smaller modern cairn.
