taken 25 years ago, 4 km SSE of Hartsop, Cumbria, England

Looking South Caudale Moor
Looking South Caudale Moor
Descending Stony Cove Pike over John Bell's Banner. Doup Crag on the left High Bull Crag on the right Wansfell in the middle. Towards Doup Crag is an area of peat hags which are full of ancient tree roots in the peat more in this spot than I have come across anywhere in the Lakes.
