taken 12 years ago, near to Lewes, East Sussex, Great Britain

Chalk cliffs above River Ouse
Chalk cliffs above River Ouse
Chalk cliffs looming above the river Ouse just south of Lewes, and close to the site of the "Snowdrop", a local pub named after the avalanche that fell from the cliffs in the C19. The red is the autumn colour of cotoneaster which is colonising the lower slopes.
