The Crossing Cottage, Pilling
The Crossing Cottage, Pilling
This is on the line of the long gone Garstang to Knott End Railway, whose train was known as The Pilling Pig because of the squeal of the whistle. Presumably there was a level crossing at this point on Lamb's Lane.
