The cliff face in the centre of the picture is called Rock Walk and was the subject of a radical change during 2008 with the removal of all the trees and bushes causing half of the seafront dual carriageway (above) to remain closed most of the year.
It is hoped that work on the stabilisation of the cliff face would be finished in May/June 2009 and the replanting would start after that.
