The Hangers way is a 21 mile path that runs from Alton in the North to Queen Elizabeth Country park in the south (about 5 miles ahead in the picture).
The band of trees running across the top left of the hill in the distance is Pilmead Row, the tree covered hill in the distance on the right is Hoadlands Crundle (where do they get the names from?).
