This view of the South Forty Foot Drain is from the south side of Donington High Bridge. The bridge was erected jointly by the Holland and Kesteven County Councils and Black Sluice Drainage Commissioners in 1926. In the left foreground is a Water Flow Gauging Station which monitors water level and flow rate for the Environment Agency.
