Off to the right here marked by the heavy concrete bollard is a rather hidden lane. It runs from the Wood End - Dordon road to Baddesley Ensor. The bollards are just far enough apart for a brave car driver to still get through. A little way along this lane there is a quite dramatic ford (hence the name of the lane: Watery Lane), so all in all it is quite a perilous lane to attempt in an ordinary vehicle. There used to be a second entrance to this lane a little closer to Dordon, but that has been completely blocked up. I didn't venture down to see if the Baddesley end is blocked.
